Established in 1996 Akea srl is specialized in the production of polyurethane coagulated and coated materials.

Originally established mainly for the production of coated fabrics and semi-finished products for the footwear and accessories market, Akea has progressively increased and diversified its business, establishing itself in new market contexts. The most significant of these include the automotive, bookbindery and apparel industries.

Distillation plant

The site is equipped with a distillation plant which allows us to recover and reintroduce into our production cycle over 95% of the solvent used.

Solvent Recovery and Emission Control Systems

We use advanced technologies to recover and abate solvents in order to have near-zero emissions into the atmosphere.

Treatment of dust and gaseous effluents

Air effluents and emissions are treated by dedicated systems in order to protect the environment
